Bristow Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1923. The course was designed by Perry Maxwell.

Bristow Community Golf Course is a regulation length 9 hole, par-36, 3,067 yard layout . The course rating is 35.4 and the slope rating is 122. The 3,067-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 38.3 and a slope of 133.

There is a lake that comes into play on several holes. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are small and fast. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. The most demanding hole is #3, a 322-yard, par 4.
